Companion Animal Coordinator

Successful candidate will be part of one of the most respected animal welfare organizations in the Middle East, working within the Companion Animal Program to provide nationwide assistance, rescue and rehome animals in need, and assist with education and awareness projects for the community.
Position DescriptionSuccessful candidate must be completely comforatble handing cats and dogs and expect to interact with them on a daily basis.

effectively communicate to the public and other stakeholders the goals of this progra and our policies regarding companion animals
receive reports by phone, email and in person of animals in need
maintain records of all reports as well as all animals assisted
ensure animals receive needed care and remain in a state of good health
coordinate adoption, foster and veterinary care for animals
rescue animals in need, often in difficult situations
maintaining inventory of supplies and ordering new supplies
assist and encourage volunteers to develop program and meet regular targets
oversee community events (i.e. trade shows, adoption days, festivals)

Successful candidate must recognize that Animals Lebanon is a small but growing organization, and assistance in other aspects of the organizations work may be required from time to time.
Companion Animal Coordinator reports to the Executive Director.
Qualifications/ExperienceThe successful candidate will work as part of a team and needs to be flexible, easy going, a good communicator, organized, adaptable, and have a positive outlook.
Must have an interest and respect for animals and the goals of Animals Lebanon.
Must be completely fluent in English and Arabic, French is a plus.
Must have a bachelors degree or higher.
Preferable to have transportation.

Salary and CompensationAnimals Lebanon meets or exceeds national law regarding employment conditions and salary. Salary will be based on qualifications and prior experience.
