Project Officer - Nahno Volunteers

The Project and MEAL Assistant position entails executing daily field activities for the project, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of objectives. Responsibilities include assisting in identification and selection of households for food and cash aid, implementing distributions in collaboration with local CSOs, as well as conducting regular data entry and cleaning. The role involves efficient teamwork, clear progress reporting, and identification of high-risk cases for referral to appropriate assistance programs.

Field Assistant

Procurement Officer is responsible for providing procurement and logistical support for Anera Lebanon’s procurement department. This position entails working directly with vendors, service providers and subcontractors. The Procurement and Logistics Coordinator reports to the Procurement and Operations Manager. This position does not have any direct reports.

Success in this position requires an individual to have good organizational skills and an attention to detail. This position requires a proficient understanding of the procurement process.

The MEAL Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring that Anera's projects maintain the highest standards of accountability, efficiency, and effectiveness. Beyond rigorous monitoring and evaluation, this role emphasizes continuous learning from project experiences and the effective communication of results to a wide range of stakeholders. Reporting directly to the MEAL Manager, the MEAL Officer is responsible for facilitating knowledge transfer, ensuring project compliance, and promoting a culture of transparency and iterative learning. This position requires extensive travel to project sites.

Anera proposes to execute the cash for education project in North Lebanon, South Lebanon, & Beirut, while optimizing resources like field offices, experienced staff, access to public schools, local authorities,& financial, monitoring,& referral systems. Comprehensive training on gender, protection, PSEA, & inclusion will be provided to team members.

The accountant will contribute to the efficient and effective workings of the finance department by executing daily tasks with a strong attention to details. This role will utilize strong accounting knowledge and time management skills.

Working with general supervision, performs a variety of activities for the proper accounting of receipts, payable and payroll of the Lebanon office. Maintains records and documentation for accounting function.
