Graduation Ceremony & Inauguration Of Beddawi Sports Field - Cancelled

*** Due to the current situation in Arsal and North Lebanon and for safety considerations, the ceremony is put on hold ***

ANERA (American Near East Refugee Aid) is pleased to announce the double ceremony of ENFE II education program (Enhancing Non-Formal Education in North Lebanon), that will celebrate the graduation of vocational training students and the inauguration of Palestine soccer field. The ceremony will take place August 8, 2014 at 6 pm in Palestine Soccer field, Beddawi camp.
More than 130 graduates from the program will receive training certificates. Attendees will also celebrate the inauguration of the newly-rehabilitated Palestine soccer field. The festivities include a performance of the traditional dabke dance, refreshments and a photo exhibition retracing the program’s achievements.
The two-year program was co-funded by ANERA and Reach Out To Asia (ROTA), and implemented in partnership with nine community-based organizations, along with local sports clubs in the Palestinian camps of Nahr el-Bared and Beddawi. Together with its partners, ANERA organized vocational training courses for over 200 students, remedial education classes for over 600 elementary pupils, and extra-curricular sports activities for 2,000 youth to promote healthy lifestyles.
Speakers at the ceremony will include ANERA’s country director in Lebanon, representatives of ROTA, NISCVT (National Institute for Social Care and Vocational Training), WPA (Women’s Program Association), and Najdeh Association.
We hope to see you there!
