POSITION GENERAL OBJECTIVES
Deliver the daily field activities for the project in coordination with the Field Officer on-time and to a high quality
Gather data, analyse trends, and propose response modalities in line with the project objectives, planning, and targets in coordination with the Field Officer
Ensure consistency and quality in means of verification, weekly reporting, and analysis of trends identified at the field level
Objective 1 : Implementation of the CPA Process (50%)
Implement the full CPA process effectively and efficiently to meet the project deliverables on time and to a high standard
Conduct daily oversight and reporting on the CPA implementation;
Maintain a high standard of record keeping of CPA related activities;
Directly conduct the collection of quantitative and qualitative data using GVC Protection Platform or any other relevant tools to ensure the accurate and timely submission of the gathered data
Be present at the field on a daily basis to follow up on activities and work directly with the local communities
Follow all guidelines and protocols for implementing the CPA process to the highest standard
In coordination with the Field Officer assist in the identification of community protection risks, acute unment needs, and emergency cases (fires, floods, newcomers, etc)
Objective 2 : Delivery of Response Modalities (30 %)
In coordination with the Field Officer ensure the delivery of identified services and programming under the different response modalities (Emergency, Acute Unmet Needs, and Protection Response Plans) to the highest quality and standard
Implement and report on response modality service delivery directly at the field level, ensuring correct compliance with means of verification and reporting
Provide information and support to the Field Officer to tailor and define the method of response for individuals, households, and communities specific and contextual needs.
Provide support to other consortium partner teams for the delivery of assistance as and when needed
Work with other Action Against Hunger team members to provide accurate and timely assistance to identified participants in the programme
Objective 3 : Field Monitoring and Reporting (20 %)
Following the weekly and monthly planning for the programme team, report back accurately on field level activities to the Field Officer
Based on daily and active engagement at the field level, identify and report on trends and gaps in assistance for the targeted populations
Implement all field activities and deliveries, ensuring compliance and control is provided trhough monitoring and reporting
Conduct data collection regarding the project and the potential beneficiaries.
Alongside the MEAL department, facilitate regular monitoring and evaluation activities for the field activities.
Objective 4 : Security
Respect the security rules specified in the mission and base security plan, see to it that the team under his/her responsibility complies with the security plan and perform the security management tasks that can be assigned in its protocols.
Communicate to the security managers of the working location any security related information or noncompliance with the security plan
Objective 5 : Support humanitarian activities of Action Against Hunger
Support the emergency interventions of the organization as per the employee’s abilities.
Support any activity that helps reaching our humanitarian goals, as per the employee’s abilities.
Training/ Education:
A bachelor's degree degree in in BA, Social Fields or any other related fields OR a combination of education and relevant experience in the humanitarian sector
Technical specific knowledge:
Ability to manage multiple tasks covering different objectives simultaneously to a high quality
Knowledge of data collection and analysis
Knowledge of delivery modalities for Emergency Response and Community Empowerment an advantage
Previous experience:
Two years’ experience working in a related field of expertise.
Experience in the humanitarian sector in a similar position
Personal requirements:
Ability to work in a team
Ability to manage stress effectively
Ability to manage time and priorities well
Clear communicator with excellent inter-personal skills
Ability to work with a degree of autonomy on set tasks
Languages:
Fluent Arabic, Fluency in written and spoken English
IT and specific systems:
Windows domain, Compulsory expertise in Excel.
Mobility (national/ international):
Based in Zahle with frequent travels to Arsaal and frequent presence in the field
REMUNERATION PACKAGE
We offer immediate incorporation to a dynamic international network with the following remuneration package:
Based in: Bekaa
Area: WASH
Formal work contract: 8 months
Salary: from 1013 USD to 1220 USD gross per month according to candidate’s previous experience (according to standard list of Action Against Hunger - Spain). Action Against Hunger - Spain remuneration system allows a salary progression based on the annual development appraisal.

LBP 8,000 daily transportation allowance on working days
