The Public Source - Jobs

The Public Source is seeking a Beirut-based managing editor to join us on a full-time basis starting in early 2023.

The ideal candidate is a strategic and creative thinker — committed to quality public interest journalism — with at least five years of experience as a journalist and/or editor.

The Public Source, a Beirut-based independent media organization, is seeking to hire a web developer to work on front-end and UX development of its website, as well as other projects managed by its design and tech partner, SHFRA studio. The studio focuses on digital editorial design and the developer will be working under its technical guidance. The web developer reports to both SHFRA studio's lead developer and The Public Source's editor in chief.

We are recruiting two interns, who will be selected on the basis of their qualifications, eagerness to learn, and assessed ability to integrate well into our team. Women, gender non-conforming individuals, and refugee students are particularly encouraged to apply.
