CHF-Vitas Iraq Overview

CHF-VITAS Iraq is a humanitarian non-profit nongovernmental microfinance program in Iraq, a lending program that was established in 2003 and that targets Iraqi individuals who are unable to access bank credit.

CHF-VITAS Iraq had the privilege of serving the communities of Iraq by offering financial services for the owners of micro and small businesses that respond to their needs and enable them to increase their income by developing their businesses, and by supporting homeowners in home improvement and restoration.

CHF-Vitas Iraq practices its mission and offers its services through a network of 15 branches in Iraq and one management office in Lebanon registered under the name of ATAS (Al TAMWEEL EL SAREE CO OFFSHORE).
CHF-Vitas Iraq operates through a professional team consisting of more than 550 employees in Iraq and 25 employees in Lebanon devoting their time to connect with targeted segments to understand their needs and proactively meet them through easy and quick process.

The Director of Internal Audit is responsible for leading the direction and leadership of the internal audit function, and planning and conducting operational, financial, and compliance audits evaluating internal controls and organizational risk. Makes recommendations to senior management to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the control systems of functions reviewed. Manages audits including evaluating internal controls, performing and documenting audit test work, communicating issues to management, writing audit reports, identifying and evaluating emerging areas of organizational risk.
